Resolved Question: Why are their 3,5, and 7 year olds more adoptable than ours?

Keep coming across articles about all these would be adopters "in the process" of adopting kids from Haiti. All the kids I've read about are 3, 5, 7, 10 years old! How can this be? What would be the reason that Americans are spending 10s of thousands of dollars and lots of travel to go to Haiti (or the Ukraine, or Samoa, or where ever) to adopt, when we have thousands of adoptable children here? All these kids (no infants) are in "foster care" whether they're in the US or, say, Haiti right? I have my theories, what do YOU think?... Read More »
